Why we decided to automate rent collection

As property owners and renters ourselves, we’ve all experienced problems with paying and collecting rent. It’s messy, its manual, and its time consuming to properly track your rental income.

Regulations are always changing; processes are needlessly complicated, and mistakes can be costly. If you take your finger off the button you can find yourself facing rent arrears.

We want to help owners to free up both time and money. So, we're creating tech to make the job easier. Being hands-free with rental income administration means more time to be hands-on doing the things that make you tick.

It was in late 2019 that we first set out to change renting for the better. We rounded up a smart bunch of people and got to work on building a way for landlords to stay up-to-date and track their rental income.

We have so many ideas on how we can enhance the renting experience for landlords and tenants alike and we’re excited to see where we can take this.

The people behind the magic

Grove is a Wellington-based team, made up of landlords, renters, and homeowners. Our diverse skill set, and range of property experience puts us in the perfect position to execute our mission to provide the easiest way to track rental income.
